I’ve been tutoring A-Level Computer Science for six years, with most of my students coming to me for help with algorithms, data structures and programming questions. I’m particularly keen on teaching recursion because it’s one of those topics that becomes much easier once you can visualise what the code is doing. Lessons usually involve a short explanation followed by plenty of exam-style problems and coding practice.

Hi! I’m an A-Level Computer Science tutor and software engineering graduate. I started tutoring while at university and have carried on ever since. Programming is the part I enjoy teaching most, particularly Python and object-oriented concepts. If something isn’t clicking, I’ll usually write a small program with the student and work through it line by line rather than spending ages talking through slides.

I teach A-Level Computer Science and have eight years of experience working with sixth-form students. Near exam season, I spend more time looking at past-paper responses and showing students where marks are commonly lost through vague terminology or incomplete explanations.

I’m quite methodical with exam preparation: we identify weak topics first, revise the underlying theory, then use past questions to see whether the explanation would actually earn the marks.

Hi, I’ve been teaching A-Level Computer Science for five years and still genuinely enjoy debugging code with students. A lot of my tutoring is with pupils who are comfortable learning definitions but get stuck when a programming problem looks unfamiliar. We normally work through the logic on paper first, then write and test the solution together. I also spend plenty of time on binary, networks and computer architecture before exams.
